Our application process is a bit different from any previously listed. We open once every 3 months to applicants. Additionally any wisdom may ask to to take on an apprentice at any time. Therefore, if you get to know your local wisdom well, you can avoid the need to wait for an open period. This second option only negates the timing for the applicant. All other procedures are still followed regardless of the technique in which the application process was started.
Prospective applicants should write a detailed letter to any member of the Wisdom Council. This is often our first impression of your character and the quality of this letter in terms of writing ability, interest, and detail can have influence on your success.
Meet as many wisdoms as possible. We typically abstain our individual votes on you if we haven't met you. It also shows initiative.
Be willing to RP your socks off - or at least be willing to learn. We are a role playing clan. While player killing is allowed, we do not place the same emphasis on this that other clans have.
One last tip, behave as you believe a wisdom should at all times. We wisdoms run the single most powerful gossip network in all the world. If you do something comment worthy (either for the good or ill) we will quite likely hear about it one way or another.
Applicant success is currently based on a simple majority vote.
(I was writing this off the top of my head - if any wisdom catches something incorrect or incomplete in this shoot me a mail and I'll edit it.)
