Historically, the Shadow Master was the load for short blades on darkside. He could be taken out through the use of backstab. However, there was a catch. If the Shadow Master was killed by a solo rogue, one of his men would loot the corpse and become the Shadow Master. This could be circumvented by having a comrade loot the corpse during the stabber's lag to prevent the mob event from occurring.
